Donut Boy Visits the National Law Enforcement Museum’s Office

Tyler Carach is on a mission to thank every police officer in America. While visiting Washington, DC during National Police Week, this young man and his mom recently stopped by our offices to drop off donuts and tell us about his effort. When he was just eight years old, Tyler noticed four police officers in a café in his Florida hometown. Tyler asked his Mom if he could use his allowance money to buy each of the officers a donut and that’s how his project got started. He’s since visited 27 states and given away more than 50,000 donuts to police officers. The Museum encourages initiatives that help strengthen the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they serve. Congratulations, Tyler, and keep up the good work!
