The National Law Enforcement Museum’s Forensic Detectives Summer Camp is a week-long dive into the messy and meticulous world of forensic science. Students will engage in hands-on training in the basics of crime scene investigation from fingerprints to DNA, and toolmarks to trace.
Campers will meet with professionals working in the field today and learn about the history of American law enforcement. This summer camp experience will provide participants with a greater understanding of forensic science, its role in the criminal justice system, and exposure to STEM-related careers in law enforcement.
Full-tuition scholarships are available for students who attend a Title 1 school or who qualify for free or reduced lunch. If you know a child aged 11 to 14 who would jump at this opportunity help them fill out our application. Hurry, space is limited.
