Come visit the National Law Enforcement Museum for our free Law Enforcement Academy: Do you have what it takes? Family Fun Day on Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm as we take a look into the world of health and fitness in law enforcement. Officers must be mentally and physically prepared for their work. Walk-in their shoes and see if you would pass the academy!
In addition to the Museum’s highly interactive and immersive exhibits, on Family Fun Day, visitors will be able to participate in many special activities. It includes a challenging P.A.T OBSTACLE COURSE based on the police Physical Agility Test. Join us for one of our featured activities during Family Fun Day: POLICE YOGA. With a high-stress job, yoga and mindfulness is being encouraged among law enforcement officers. So, grab your yoga mat and come in for a session!
You can also play observation and memory games in TAKING A CLOSER LOOK in the Learning Lab. Play our “Infamous Faces” matching game. Focus on the details to find the suspect in “Detective Mission”. Recreate the crime scene with Legos. Don’t forget to stop by our activity cart featuring FINGERPRINTS IN FORENSICS as you make your own set of prints to take home
It is a great opportunity to talk to real officers and agents, too! Special guests from local and federal law enforcement agencies (to be announced) will be on hand to meet and greet visitors throughout our free Family Fun Day.
Visitors who seek a low sensory experience will be able to enjoy quieter activities such as BOOK NOOK or ART CORNER in the “Reel to Real” Theater.
There is something fun to do for everyone at our free Family Fun Day 😊
