Join us for a free Grand Opening Community Day celebration as we proudly open our Museum doors to the public for the first time. There’ll be plenty to see and do inside and out.
We’re starting our Community Day with a celebration so big, we’ve taken over the block! This free event features a day of family fun you won’t want to miss. Festivities include our 5K, entertainment, demonstrations, forensic activity, fingerprinting, caricature artists, face painting and more.
Admission required to enter the Museum, get your timed-entry ticket today.
Register today to run or walk in our annual Run For The Badge 5K in support of the Museum. This event provides an opportunity to meet many law enforcement officers and local community members in a fun environment. Registrants will receive a participant t-shirt, bib, and a finisher’s medal. Top fundraisers and age group finishers will receive an award. Register as an individual participant or, better yet, form a team and run or walk together.
Museum ticket holders will experience the history of American law enforcement like never before. The Museum’s “walk in the shoes” experience lets you see what a day in the life of an officer is really like through first-hand stories of life on the job. Try your hand at fielding emergency calls in our 9-1-1 Emergency Ops exhibit, weight the evidence and see if you can crack the crime in Take the Case, test your decision-making skills in our Training Simulator and so much more!
Please note, timed-entry admission tickets are required to enter the Museum.
We have arranged a group rate at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Washington which is a few minutes walk away from the National Law Enforcement Museum.
To benefit from these discounted rates please call 1.888.236.2427 and quote ‘NLE’ or ‘National Law Enforcement Museum Opening’.
Get more from your visit! Add our Signature Film to your general Museum admission ticket. Please arrive 25 minutes prior to your scheduled Museum entrance and allow 40 minutes from entry until your movie times.
