1. How many kids will be attending camp? For each session, The Forensic Detective camp will have no more than 20 students attending.
    2. What should my child wear to camp? Your child should wear comfortable shoes and clothing that they can have fun in and get dirty.
    3. Will lunch be provided? Lunch will not be provided. Students are responsible for bringing their own lunch and snacks to camp. Students should also bring a refillable water bottle.
    4. How will the campers travel to field trip locations? Field trip locations are within walking distance from the camp location. We will be walking to the various locations.
    5. What does my child need to bring to camp? Each student should wear comfortable clothes, have a refillable water bottle, their lunch, snacks, a light sweater or jacket, and a positive attitude!
    6. What time do I have to pick up my child from camp? The Forensic Detectives campers will be dismissed from camp at 4:00pm. Students are expected to be picked up no later than 4:15pm.
    7. Do you offer before or after camp care? The camp is not equipped to offer before or after camp care. Camp staff will not sign students into camp until 8:15am. Campers will be dismissed from camp at 4:00pm and should be picked up no later than 4:15pm. Students are able to leave on their own at 4:00pm if it is indicted by their parent or guardian by a note.
    8. How early can I drop off my child in the morning? The camp staff will greet students each morning at 8:15am. They will not sign students in before that time. Students arrive between 8:15 and 8:30am.
    9. If my child cannot attend a camp day who should I contact? If you child is ill or is unable to attend, please contact the Camp Director
    10. Different people will be dropping off and picking up my child. Is that ok? A student may be released to anyone who has been approved by the parent or guardian. If this will change throughout the week, please send a note to the camp staff letting them know.
    11. What is the refund policy? Unfortunately, we can not provide a refund once camp has been paid. If you have questions about this policy, please contact our Education Department at 202-737-7860.
    12. How old do my children have to be to attend camp? Campers must be between the ages of 11-14.
    13. Will my camper ever be anywhere but the address provided? Throughout the week, students will go on field trips and will not be at the addressed provided. When the weather is nice, camp staff might also take students outside for lunch. If you believe that you will be picking up your student early, or in case of an emergency, please contact camp staff at 202-737-7860.
