Chief Executive Officer – National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund
Craig Floyd is the founding Chief Executive Officer of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund based in Washington, DC. Since the inception of the organization in 1984, he has devoted his professional life to honoring the service and sacrifice of America’s law enforcement professionals, and to promoting officer safety and wellness. His many notable achievements include the dedication of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in 1991, and spearheading Congressional authorization of the National Law Enforcement Museum.
Executive Director – National Law Enforcement Museum
Dave Brant serves as the Executive Director of the National Law Enforcement Museum, helping to bring the Museum to life ahead of its planned opening in fall 2018, and brings more than 30 years of law enforcement experience to the Museum. Mr. Brant’s career began in 1975 when he became a police officer with the Dade County Metropolitan Public Safety Department in Miami. He joined NCIS in 1977 as a special agent and went on to serve as the agency’s director from 1997 to 2005. While heading NCIS, Mr. Brant led efforts to establish and build significantly-enhanced law enforcement information-sharing capabilities among local, state and federal law enforcement agencies.
Senior Director of Exhibits and Programs
Rebecca Looney is the Senior Director of Exhibits and Programs. She joined the Museum as a full-time employee in 2012. Ms. Looney was part of the original team from Christopher Chadbourne and Associates that developed the exhibitions for the Museum. Working with law enforcement professionals, content experts and educators, she has developed the storylines of the exhibits and helped determine their form alongside the designers. Ms. Looney has worked in the museum field for over 20 years as both a consultant and a museum employee, and has worked on several major museum projects and exhibitions, including Price of Freedom, National Museum of American History (Washington, DC); the Mount Vernon Education Center (Mount Vernon, VA); National Infantry Museum (Fort Benning, GA) and the U.S. Marshals Museum (Fort Smith, AR), among others.
Executive Director, Motorola Solutions Foundation
Matt Blakely is executive director of the Motorola Solutions Foundation and leads the philanthropic efforts of the company and its charitable giving arm, the Motorola Solutions Foundation. He is responsible for the company’s strategic philanthropy efforts and employee volunteerism, which support public safety training, honoring public safety officers, science education and disaster response. The Foundation and Motorola Solutions employees contribute more than 35,000 volunteer hours and $12 million in over 35 countries annually.
Matt also serves as the company’s director of inclusion, diversity, and outreach, leading Motorola Solutions’ efforts to recruit, retain and develop employees from a variety of backgrounds, orientations, abilities and genders.
