Forensic Pathology 101
In this workshop, students will learn the basics of Forensic Pathology and gain a greater understanding of the role it plays in our criminal justice system. Students will participate in a combination of hands-on activities and active instruction to explore topics like the identification of manner, cause, and mechanism of death; the outline of the autopsy procedure; and calculating time of death.

CSI Crash Course
Students get to step in the shoes of a real CSI (Crime Scene Investigator). Learn how to collect and label evidence from a crime scene and then test it in the forensic laboratory. Teaches fundamentals in fingerprint analysis, blood spatter analysis, DNA sequencing, fiber analysis and proper Crime Scene etiquette.

True Crime Scavenger Hunts
Students will explore the National Law Enforcement Museumโs exhibits โ and primary source documents and artifacts from the museum’s collection โ in this exciting series of scavenger hunts. Students will uncover clues that help them to decipher the combinations to several locks, unveiling more information about the case until arriving to the verdict. Groups can choose to investigate one of three cases:
- The Kidnapping of Charles Lindbergh Jr.,
- The People vs. OJ Simpson, and
- The Beltway Sniper
- Age Range: Grades 6-12
