CALLING ALL OFFICERS! COME PARTY WITH US!

Looking for a unique way to celebrate a child’s birthday? The National Law Enforcement Museum is the  perfect place. Our birthday party packages are designed to provide fun for any age group. Your package includes Museum admission for all adults and children in your group and a designated party space.

Choose one of the age-appropriate packages below, or contact us to create your own package. Our Museum team can provide you with guided tours, special workshops and more.

New Recruits (Ages 3-8)

Paws and Police | Why is a dog a police officer’s best friend? In this program, guests will tour the exhibit floor to learn about the powerful smelling skills of K-9s, watch a video featuring the Boston (MA) Police Department’s K-9 unit, and design their own K-9 police vest to take home.

Tools and Technology | What tools do police officers need to do their jobs? In this program, guests will tour the exhibit floor and learn about various tools used in the past and the present by police officers. Guests will try on a duty belt in the Learning Center aided by a former police officer and make their own historical tool.

Festive Detectives (Ages 9-12)

Junior Forensics | This workshop is an introduction to a variety of forensic science skills. The multi-station format allows guests to step into the shoes of crime scene investigators and compile evidence to indict a suspect on murder charges. Students will learn to examine bloodstains, lift latent fingerprints, decipher DNA profiles, and more. Will your guests solve the case?

Capitol Hill Sleuths | Step into the shoes of past DC detectives to track down the location of a prominent senator’s kidnapped child. Guests will have fun solving puzzles, analyzing primary sources, mapping geographic coordinates, and analyzing museum artifacts to solve this crime.

Chiefs in Charge (Ages 13-17)

Murder at the Museum | A Museum staff member has been murdered and another has been kidnapped. Race the clock to free our employee by solving this fast-paced scavenger hunt. Your guests will have to work together in small groups to unlock key evidence before the clock runs out. They will solve puzzles, analyze evidence, and decipher clues to unravel the mystery around this murder.

Total Forensics | This workshop has a multi-station format allowing guests to step into the shoes of crime scene investigators and compile evidence to indict a suspect on murder charges. The Law:

You can bring your own cake or cupcakes, but the Museum cannot accept outside deliveries.

Have a special theme or color? Bring your own cake plate and disposable plates. The Museum cannot provide specialty cake plates or themed plates.

  • Chill! The Museum does not provide refrigeration for parties.
  • Everything in its place!  The Learning Center should be returned to its original state. The Museum reserves the right to charge an additional clean up fee if the room is left in a dis satisfactory state.
  • A ratio of 1 adult to 5 children should be maintained during the party.
